Excellent bakery!! Located near the duomo, where lots of tourists, but strongly recommend by locals. Everything is fresh! Focaccias, quiches, pizza, and all bakery items. Can’t go wrong with any choices. We bought quiche in the morning, pizza for lunch, focaccia for snack, and deserts of course! Ppl are very nice and helpful too.

Visited the popular @berettailfornaio on a beautiful Sunday morning! I liked the apple one because the apples tasted fresh and it was not too sweet at all despite the looks. Focaccia would’ve been better if it could be heated before I got it to go. By the time I sat down to eat it, it was already cold and too oily.

the nuvola bread from Beretta il Fornaio is a staple of Como. as the name states, “cloud” you get this sweet and fluffy apricot pastry, that you can share with family or friends. everyone I have introduced this place to has enjoyed it very much. some servers are bilingual which helps as well!

We tried 3 different focaccia / pizza. All great, just a tiny bit extra oily. The potato focaccia is a little extra flavorful with the thym on top, and I would say harder to find somewhere else, so if you’re around, try that! We paid about 8€ for 3 slices :) P.s:3 slices are definitely to share with 2-3 people!

Excellent bakery! The staff was very helpful when it came to making pastry selections. I wish we had discovered this bakery before our last day in the area.

Easily the best bread in Como and one of the best for pastries (the apple Danish is especially good). The huge range of bread offerings spans everything from sourdough loaves to baguettes to focaccias. It's a popular place so the queues sometimes extend out the door but it's worth the short wait and the staff a helpful and friendly too...
